A survey conducted by a Taipei-based human resources company and a manufacturer of hair products suggests that over 50 percent of employees in Taiwan suffer from hair loss, with stress cited as the primary reason. Recently 360d Tsai Ku Human Resources Management Co. said that over 90 percent of Taiwanese employees who responded to the survey feel that their hair condition affects their mood. According to the survey results, more than 54 percent of the respondents said they are suffering from hair loss. Nearly 60 percent cited job pressure as the main factor, while 13 percent put the blame on their genes. Eating habits and health problems are also possible factors causing the problem. According to an assistant marketing manager of the company, the results show that hair loss is often a sign of too much pressure. The survey was conducted among 1,800 people and received 1,686 valid responses, with a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percent.
